Values

          a. pH=7.35–7.45    

                    Increase = Alkalotic                      

                    Decrease = Acidosis

          

          b. HCO3=22-26

          c. PaO2= 80-100 mmHg  

          d. PaCO2=35-45mmHg  

          e. SaO2=95-100% 

R - Respiratory

O - Opposite

M - Metabolic

E - Equal 

Uncompensated : CO2 or HCO3 is NORMAL

 Partially Saturated :  Nothing is Normal

Compensated : pH is Normal
